Billing & credits FAQ

How does credit-based pricing work?
Each plan includes a pool of credits that you spend as you generate. Every step of a Playbook costs credits: a text or script step is about 1 credit, an image about 4, an AI voiceover about 3, subtitles about 2, and a short animated video clip about 20. You only spend credits when you run a Playbook — browsing, editing settings, and re-reading past runs are free.
What does one content pack cost in credits?
It depends on the formats in the Playbook. A short Explainer Video pack (script, cover image, animated clip, voiceover, and subtitles) runs about 30 credits. An Article-to-Podcast episode (script plus voiceover) is about 4 credits, and a Social Post Pack about 9. On the Starter plan’s 5,000 monthly credits, that is anywhere from roughly 160 explainer videos to well over a thousand podcast episodes a month.
What’s the difference between Starter, Pro, and Enterprise?
Starter ($9/mo) includes one project, 5,000 monthly credits, and email support. Pro ($29/mo) adds unlimited projects, 50,000 monthly credits, priority support, and API access. Enterprise ($99/mo) includes everything in Pro plus 500,000 monthly credits, dedicated support, and custom integrations. The Playbooks themselves are the same on every plan — higher tiers simply give you more projects and more credits.
Is there a yearly or lifetime option?
Yes. Yearly billing is discounted compared with paying monthly — for example, Pro is $278 a year instead of $348 — and it grants a larger annual credit pool. One-time Lifetime licenses are also available for the Starter, Pro, and Enterprise tiers if you would rather pay once instead of subscribing.
Do credits expire, and how are they used up?
Credits are consumed oldest-first (FIFO), so any credits closest to expiring are always used before newer ones. Subscription plans refresh your balance each billing cycle. Because a run only deducts credits for the steps it actually completes, a Playbook that stops early won’t charge you for steps it never ran.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel a subscription anytime from your billing settings, and you keep access through the end of the current billing period. There is no long-term contract, and you can switch plans whenever your needs change.
